The Witcher: Monster Slayer is a mobile RPG game using augmented reality technology, set in the world of The Witcher. The concept is similar to the popular Pokemon GO, because thanks to the game, a dark fantasy world is born in our immediate area and monsters known from the world of CD Projekt RED games and Andrzej Sapkowski’s books appear, and players become a professional monster killer, scoring points for completed tasks, orders and defeated monsters. The action of The Witcher: Monster Slayer takes place long before the events of the Witcher series by CD PROJEKT RED.

The world premiere of the game took place on July 21. The title is available on Google Play and the Apple App Store. The game is based on a free-to-play model, therefore its installation is free. Inside the game, it is possible to make micropayments for virtual goods, thanks to which players can develop their character’s inventory.

The game was developed by the Spokko company, which was established by CD Projekt in 2018 to implement mobile projects.
