God of War: Ragnarok – the sequel will end Kratos’ Nordic chapter?

Of all the trailers on PlayStation Showcase, few shook it as hard as the first specific presentation of God of War: Ragnarok. Transferring the story of the fallen Greek god of war into the Nordic climate worked perfectly.

But surprisingly it looks like it won’t last very long. After the Sony event, director Erich Williams admitted that the game’s subtitle was by no means a decoration. Ragnarok is to be the culmination of a chapter in the history of Kratos and his son, Atreus. So it seems that the third installment will no longer take place in Nordic climates. So what awaits us? Maybe Egypt?

God of War debuted on PS4 on April 20, 2018. After a trilogy about a Spartan warrior, who after the first part was raised to the rank of the god of war, in time to fight the entire Greek pantheon, this is a completely new story. Many years after the tragic events in his homeland, Kratos stays in the land of the Norse gods and learns the burden of fatherhood.
