Grand Theft Auto V was released in 2013. Personally, I played it for the first time on the Xbox 360. The sixth part of the series is not just time to come out, but it’s time to come out two years ago. But alas, fans of action-packed crime fighters are content with endless reprints, the general public cannot tear themselves away from GTA Online, and GTA 6 has not even been announced yet.
And, according to the latest rumors, they do not announce the year of this until 2023.
Recently distributor of game leaks Tom Henderson, who has earned a reputation for “leaks” about Call of Duty and Battlefield 2042, has published a new video. The video was dedicated to the very GTA 6 and contained three main predictions.
First, the site of GTA 6 will be Vice City. And we will not go back to the eighties, but see a modern version of the city. This, on the one hand, runs counter to old rumors, on the other hand, it fits perfectly with the second news that the multiplayer version of the map will evolve over time. Imagine an event a la Fortnite, Apex Legends or CoD: Warzone and get a rough picture.
That is, GTA 6 Online may one day temporarily fail in those very eighties. Why not.
And the last, not very pleasant rumor. The project will hit the shelves no earlier than 2025. Because gamers will get multiple playable characters again. A good and large-scale campaign requires a lot of time and effort, and Rockstar doesn’t want to torment its employees with hellish rework this time.
