More news are coming in the mobile game The Witcher: Monster Slayer. The creators announced them on November 24. Get to know the details.

The Witcher: Monster Slayer is an augmented reality RPG mobile game set in the world of The Witcher. The concept is similar to the popular Pokemon GO, because thanks to the game, a dark fantasy world is born in our immediate area and monsters known from the world of CD Projekt RED games and Andrzej Sapkowski’s books appear, and players become a professional monster killer earning points for the tasks they complete, orders and defeated monsters. The action of The Witcher: Monster Slayer takes place long before the events of the Witcher series by CD PROJEKT RED.

What’s new in The Witcher: Monster Slayer on November 24? New monsters and quests!

From November 24, time tasks will be introduced to the game, during which the player will complete a series of orders related to well-known monsters or hunt a completely new beast and face the challenges focused on it. Depending on the week, the quests will concern the entire Pack, Rare, Legendary or unprecedented new monster, the type of which will remain hidden until the start of the week associated with it.

In just a few days, under the button for daily tasks, a new tab will appear – Time. Master Witcher will have new bounties for players each week that will unlock for, alternating between a new beast or creatures known from the Bestiary. However, players will have a limited time for these witcher challenges – they disappear with the arrival of the New Monster Week!

The creators also announced that the bestiary will be enlarged and the monsters that you will meet on your way will be enlarged. However, the names of the monsters were not disclosed, only stating that they will be both well-known beasts from the Witcher universe, and completely new, created from scratch.

The world premiere of the game took place on July 21. The title is available on Google Play and the Apple App Store. The game is based on a free-to-play model, therefore its installation is free of charge. Inside the game, it is possible to make micropayments for virtual goods, thanks to which players can develop their character’s inventory.

The game was developed by the Spokko company, which was established by CD Projekt in 2018 to implement mobile projects.
